The Tomblin campaign released the survey Wednesday showing Tomblin has a 14-point lead over Secretary of State Natalie Tennant among 602 likely voters surveyed over the telephone March 28-31 by Global Strategy Group. Tomblin was favored 36 percent to Tennant's 22 percent. Tennant internal: Tennant on April 1 also released an internal poll showing in a match up between Democratic candidates, Tomblin led her 31 percent to 27 percent, followed by state Treasurer John Perdue at 14 percent and House Speaker Rick Thompson and Senate Acting president Jeff Kessler with 5 percent each. The Tennant poll was conducted March 10-15 by telephone by Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research of 600 likely voters.
