Indeed.  I praise Napoleon for being active; unfortunately, he is active in pursuit of the wrong goals.

We already know the results... it will be me.  Though Napoleon might give me a run for my money with his fights with the right and Antonio.

So, I will bet my senate seat and tenure in Atlasia on this.  If Napoleon or I are voted worst senators... I will resign my senate seat and leave Atlasia.  Don't think I'm being serious?  VOTE SNOWGUY/NAPPY and find out!

Don't do it Snowy, you'd only be empowering those who hate. I am confident that our constituents support us and that is what matters. I can't fault them for their envy.

Honesty, I think Napoleon and Yankee should share the prize.

Yankee, we all know why. Napoleon, despite short tenure, is very active and engaged Senator. The most active of all.

Since I'm out of the Senate already, I'll be blunt.

Snowguy isn't the worst, but could do a heck of lot better. Must improve and cut off his EMO bulls**t.

Duke is fine as usual.

Jbrase just started. No opinion.

Shua is active, even if annoying (I was accepting his damn amendments, and then he still voted against legislations).

Bgwah isn't bad, but if he only gave the Senate half of his energy, he displays as a JCP leader. Must improve.

Fuzzy? No opinion yet.

Antonio still sticks with one damn legislation that I'm afraid will never materialize. Active in debate, but few real legislative accomplishments. Must improve.

Atlasia just brings out the worst in me.  I don't post on this website to make internetz enemies.  I post here because it's a political website with a good group of guys.  

I've gone from one of the more popular members of Atlasia to the least popular by a far cry because of arguments and fights that I've had with others and because of my perceived inactivity.  Even if you get over the argument and apologize and move on, you are tainted for good here... because it's a popularity contest.

I really don't want to leave... but I don't feel like I can really add anything positive to the game anymore.

Snowguy, while I don't want you to step down, I completely understand. Beside of a busy RL schedule in June, a second reason I did not run for reelection was I had enough of this BS too.

Snowguy debates legislation and introduced/passed a bill to solve a crisis that in all probability would have been ignored by everyone else. That's more than I can say for most Senators. He doesn't deserve such low approval ratings but obviously people care if you just smile and recite the talking points.

And Snowguy I agree with you totally about the popularity contest comment but we took on a President and he had a large following of wanna-bes. If we keep fighting the good fight, sanity will prevail.

Oh right. The JCP; such underdogs.

Don't jump to the conclusion that he is a proud member just because he thought it would be electorally convenient. :)

I suppose I was an inactive Senator too due to being a JCP member.

What do Napoleon's results have to do with ours? Anyway, if you're tired of the Senate, no need to resign. Your term will be over before too long.

Seems about right - surprised to see Antonio's numbers so high. Officepark was probably the pick of many on the left, due to his political leanings and his short time in the Senate.

Not surprising, really. There are a few guys who hate me for obvious reasons and that's not a problem for me.

Snow guy needs to find that one person who voted for me!! But I guess this means I can't slack off now. :(

The Antonio votes are surprising.  I've never been anything but impressed with him.

I cant speak for Napoleon, but Antonio was rated the #2 best and #3 worst and when that happens it clearly says "controversial" more than "good" or "bad"

Teddy's right. This is more about who's controversial than anything else, although I didn't thInk Antonio was that controversial.

Can't say these results are really surprising with all the recent posts lately.  Though, it's obvious Napoleon got a large number of right-wing votes, and maybe one or two left-wing votes.  The left votes are split between Antonio (for whatever reason), and officepark.

Well, I appreciate the thought.  

The results weren't exactly what I expected.  I suppose being an at large senator means I am answerable to all Atlasians rather than just one particular region, so those approval polls are always slanted in favor of the regional senators.

But the results, again, show that this is nothing more than a popularity contest.  There is absolutely no reason that Napoleon should be overwhelmingly rated the worst senator (except that the right and some on the left pile on him because they don't like him.)  He works hard, proposes meaningful legislation (even if controversial), debates all the bills, and votes.  But like I said, it's a popularity contest.. and Napoleon is not popular with a good number of people who vote in Atlasian polls.

I don't think the results line up neatly along ideological lines. The only clear thing from this poll is that 3 people got confused.

I have a feeling I know who it is.  I'm getting my Schlagstock ready.  (Schlagstock is German for beating stick).

This entire thread has just been an unnecessary hate-fest. Nobody should resign over it.

We all keep talking about what's wrong with Atlasia, and this is it. It's gotten too personal lately. It's always been personal, sure, but its been exceptionally so lately. I know I'm not innocent in this regard, but I'm definitely going to try and chill out. I hope everyone else does, too.

And with that I'm locking this to prevent further arguments.
