It seems Perry isn't even that far off, and look at the way Huntsman is rising in the polls, he seems to have become a real contender :P

Since this seems to be a topic lately:

in 2008, when nearly all delegates were WTA by CD and the rest were state WTA

McCain 42%, 189 delegates.
Romney 35%, 15 delegates.
Huckabee 12%, no delegates.
