The only thing more irrelevant than Gov. Rick Perry is Fmr. Gov. Rick Perry.

Four years is an eternity in politics.

Which still won't be enough time to turn Rick Perry into a credible candidate.

Will he choose Dan Quayle as his running mate?

If the tradition holds of nominating the "next in line" I think he has a better chance than most of the others who ran in 2012 (Pawlenty, Bachmann, Cain; Does anyone think they are going to come back in 2016?)  He's 62 right now, so he may be getting up there but the GOP has little problem nominating older people

Looks like its true that Perry hasn't completely ruled it out. Maybe he'll actually take preparing for it seriously next time.

Man, I can't wait. I was so disappointed when he dropped out. He was a great source of comedy.

That is right. After he is admitted to a Psychiatric hospital he will be known as Patient Perry.

How can anyone so blatantly corrupt even be considered a serious candidate?

Ha, fat chance. Nobody's going to want him, so I'd be surprised, to say the least.

How can anyone so blatantly corrupt even be considered a serious candidate?

That's the United States for you.

Perry must be deluding himself; he doesn't have a chance in 2016. For one, people now know his politics and lack of debating skill. For two, he crashed so badly that the idea of him as even VP is laughable.

Hopefully if he runs next time the news will stop focusing on his ineptness and start focusing on his obvious corruption though.

Ehh, Perry's not going to go anywhere outside of Texas and the absolute best that he could do in a Primary would be to win a few southern states and maybe a plains state or two. Look at his hilarious flame-out this year as an example of his ineptness at a national race.

Sure, he'll be the governor of Texas until we hear the Four Horseman galloping down the freeway, but he won't be President in 2016. Heck, he'd just be an easy win for whomever his opponents in the GOP class of 2016 would be.

In Texas, Dan Quayle chooses you.
