Democratic candidate David Krikorian, who was widely expected to win the party's nomination, lost to William R. Smith who neither raised money nor campaigned, but had RoboCalls done on his behalf by a SuperPac (http://cincinnati.com/blogs/politics/2012/03/08/mystery-group-made-calls-for-mystery-candidate-in-2nd-district/).
