D 30 R 33 I 39 "Other" 8 In 2008, the exit poll numbers for VA were: D 39 R 33 I 27 Now, I don't believe pollsters should weight by party ID -- I think that's circular. But sometimes it's useful context to know what the sample looked like. Obviously, if Rs outnumber Ds at the ballot box in VA in November, Obama's screwed, but that's not likely from a historical perspective. |
