Then they claim they are geniuses when they predict a Republican upset, but they are wrong much more often than they are right.

Massachusetts can't stand Romney, so he'll be lucky to get more than a couple of points than McCain did. 1988 was a long time ago, I wouldn't bet on Romney even getting close in Massachusetts.
