The Duke/Cincy candidacy strongly oppose their continued absence on your polls.

As do your current Co-Presidents for not being included.

Do I really need to put the ~~obvious~~ winners on the polling ballot? This poll is basically signifying who will come in 2nd.

Hmm. The only common trend with these polls is that Napoleon wins or is tied for 1st.
But here we have Tweed tied with Napoleon, and in that other poll, Tweed has just surpassed the governor, though that might not last. This will be quite a fascinating election. :3

Polnut's not running for re-election.

Tweed has not really come close, yet alone passed me, in any poll. And he gets crushed in a head to head with clarence, which I would win handily. The Left can with me, or lose with Tweed. There is a choice.

A few hours ago you were both tied. I had a feeling it was due to the small sample size polled at the time. Anyway you already have the support of the majority of the Atlasian left since Snowy dropped out. I wouldn't worry about that.

Of course he has our support because we don't want a right wing candidate to win, but he is a Romney of the left. A better idea for the left would be to have Tweed's VP run as a left wing choice and pair him up with a different VP.

I apologize for negatively portraying your candidate, but I think the Labor party needs to find a left-wing option. I'll support and campaign for your candidate if we can't find an acceptable option by May.

If I'm Romney, doesn't that make whoever Seatown supports Rick Santorum? :)

Tweed would be more of a Ron Paul option in this case if we continue the analogy.

Tweed came out of nowhere so he is Herman Cain. Naturally, 20RP12 is Ron Paul. I guess that makes Clarence Gingrich and Ben is who?

How is Tweed not Paul?

Napoleon - Romney (leading in polls, organization)
Clarence - Santorum (main challenger, seeks to unify right)
20RP12 - Gingrich (established political figure, insane campaign themes)
Tweed - Paul (Fiercely anti-establishment, changes in government)
Ben - ???
Seatown's wish - Perry (More extreme alternative to Napoleon, enters(?) after others)

Tweed- Herman Cain
Napoleon - Mitt Romney (rich, Northeasterner, "moderate")
Ben - Rick Perry (anti-Napoleon, hawk)
20RP12 - Ron Paul
Clarence - Newt Gingrich
Duke - Jesus

You're like the liberal Rick Perry. You're kind of the anti-Napoleon cuz you're the only major left-leaning candidate other than Napoleon.

I'm considering hopping into the race just for fun since I'm no longer involved in day-to-day politics or any political party, and I think some quixotic independent campaign that finishes in last place might be an entertaining diversion before I retire "properly". :P

Out of the current field, as I've said before, my preference would be for a Napoleon victory. It's not a bad set of candidates by any means, but I think Napoleon would make a very good, very capable President.

Of course this is rather unimportant and not an attack on Ben but I would like to show how such evidence isn't really evidence. ;)

Democrats aren't left wing at all. PM scores are the most useless thing ever. Most of all,

I absolutely am left-leaning.  My foreign policy is right leaning, but when it comes to economics, and to the domestic issues that matter, I am just as liberal, if not more so, than Napoleon.  I am a firmly center-left candidate, and liberal voters should feel comfortable casting a ballot for me.

Ben is a liberal with hawkish foreign policy views. Why you kids insist on ganging up on him is beyond both me and The People at large. We detest these types of purity tests that pundits and activists try to force on our public officials. The point is, Ben does his job well, is a smart kid, and is always active. Considering the state of the game, we should be praising active members of this game, not trying to tear them down.

Once again, The People have identified a problem in the game will be ignored by the pollsters and others still active in this game. Ignore Us at your own peril.
