Hopefully Donovan didn't know about this and (if he didn't) isn't hurt too much by it. He seemed like a top-notch candidate. That being said, I suppose Esty could probably still keep the seat Democratic. The Democrats should let him keep his little Meriden fiefdom and choose someone else, ideally Esty.

Donovan couldn't have changed that by being on the panel. But it certainly does not look good. |
