Republicans really don't have a strong bench here and I doubt they will have a competitive challenger against him (or Kitzhaber assuming he runs for another term) in 2014. CMR more conservative than Paul Ryan? Bob Casey to Bernie Sanders' left? Something is seriously effed up with their methodology.
