Let it begin.

I'm really interested in seeing what the impact on polling will be.

How many voters thought "Well, I don't like Obamacare, but it's going to get struck down, so I can still vote for Obama."?

So react to the Supreme Court declaring the mandate constitutional by giving money to the guy who passed the mandate as Governor.

Where does it mention this ?

Quote
Within 30 minutes of the Supreme Court ruling to uphold much of President Obama’s health care law, the Romney campaign announced it had raised more than $100,000. Some 45 minutes after that, the total had tripled.

Isn't that 300K ?

Basically, none. No one thinks that way.

Republicans, if it helps, think about how Walker got his agenda passed and then won his recall as someone who got something done with the support of Obama voters. People like elected officials who get results. That's why Republicans were hoping for a SCOTUS reversal for Obama so they could paint him as a loser who accomplished nothing.

Did Sheldon Adelson cut him another check?

So nobody thinks people are saying:

"Well, I thought Obamacare was an overreach and maybe unconstitutional. But the Supreme Court said that it's kosher so maybe it's not such a bad bill after all."

Considering he's been averaging $2.5 mil a day since May, $1 mil in 3 hours sounds to be on par with no major increase.

The funny part is that most of these donations cost more than a fee for not having health insurance, and more than, gasp, having health insurance.

Real people don't think that way.

If 60% of the country disapproves of the Health Care mandate tax, then those people will now be dead set in voting for Romney.

Also, the middle class (who are too rich for free medicare) will be forced with raising higher taxes to pay for health care.

Is the middle class going to vote for a president who has raised middle class taxes?  I don't think so, but I could be wrong.

Overall, Obama has cut middle class taxes. The mandate-tax thing only applies to people who choose not to buy insurance.

Did the donors like that Romney said that he would appoint justices like the 4 conservative judges, including Roberts whom he named, which means that there's only a 75% chance that justices he appoints would find RomneyCare unconstitutional.

When it looked like the Court'd strike it down, Democrats were trying to spin that as a good thing for Obama.

Now, Republicans trying to argue that the law being upheld is bad for Obama look equally as stupid (and hackish).

HOW? Most Americans are AGAINST Obamacare. What don't you liberals understand about that!?

It being upheld was good for Obama personally, today, but ironically it will help lead to his downfall in November.

Nothing has changed since 2010, when Obamacare opposition ushered in Republicans. Those voices will only grow after today.

It's a win for Obama as of June 28, 2012. But the polls will start being conducted on June 29, 2012 and it will slowly but surely show that it turned out to be yet another downfall for this horrible president.

The 2010 midterms were a referendum on Health Care and Republicans swept into office.

Liberals don't seem to realize that Health Care is a losing issue for 60% of Americans who oppose the mandate.

60% of Americans will vote against Obama, again, in 2012.

That's just how things will work.

So you are predicting that Obama won't break 40% of the popular vote? Nice to know.

He'll get 45%-48% or so, but will lose because the turnout is moderate :P (There's some serious truth to that, though....)

I sent Obama $13 on top of my usual $25 a month donation. Why the odd number? That's what they asked for.

FWIW both campaigns will probably raise an average of $2-$3 mill a day from now to the election.
