I strongly support this legislation... I attempted something similar a couple months ago with my "Justice to the Department of Justice Act" but this has the same intention and I will vote for this

It ensures that if a federal law is being enforced on a region which has passed a law or is engaging in an illegal activity, that the federal officials can't interfere with the functioning of the regional government with regards to all the activities it engages in that aren't in violation of federal law.

I am thinking maybe we should state the enforcement mechanism within the law here, rather then have to create a second statute to do that.

What do you mean by a "normal" lawsuit? Is this some kind of injunction? Is there criminal penalties here?
