Some other tidbits:

-Barbara Howe has been doing consistently well in the last few polls. PPP says that she may be actually hurting Dalton more:
Quote
That is because Howe is surprisingly pulling more support from Democrats (9%) than
Republicans (5%); Democrats make up over 45% of the electorate.  Howe also takes 14%
of independents, and essentially none of them are potential McCrory voters.

- Both GA Ds and Rs have underwater 36/48 favorables. That, sadly to me, doesn't suggest that the Ds are in a position to gain back very many GA seats in the fall, especially in the wake of the Ruchomander. Voters also dislike the GOP budget 24/46.

-Other than the Governor's race, other statewide races seem to be close, with high undecideds. I would have liked to see a Lt. Gov. poll included though.

I suspect that PPP will have Dalton 'surging' from a 7 point deficit to another 7 point deficit until he actually ends up losing by 12.

Then I suspect you haven't look at the polls from other firms. The only poll from the last few months that has McCrory up double-digits is a Rasmussen, which seems like an outlier.
