On a personal note I really don't care for these mystery speaker things. It's a sideshow and makes the conventions have almost an E-Hollywood feel to them. I don't have a problem with the Dems mentioning God in their platform if they also include a section welcoming nonreligious Americans to their party and praising secular culture. And maybe they will!
