Title: Re: MA-WBUR/MassInc: Obama leads Romney 2:1 Post by: Likely Voter on October 01, 2012, 12:21:31 PM McCain got 36% in 2008. Is it possible that with a national shift away from Obama (he probably isn't going to win by 7%) and being a "favorite son", Romney will still under perform Obama in MA?
Title: Re: MA-WBUR/MassInc: Obama leads Romney 2:1 Post by: old timey villain on October 01, 2012, 12:31:55 PM Maybe Republicans haven't been under performing in Massachusetts since 2000. Maybe the GOP is just so aligned against the interests of the average Massachusetts resident that scoring less than 40% of the vote is literally the best they can do, even with a favorite son on the ticket.
