Quote
Libertarian presidential nominee Gary Johnson would run for president again in four years if he's not elected in November, the candidate announced during a town hall meeting Tuesday night.

"As long as I'm relevant, I will continue this through 2016," Johnson said during the meeting, which was simulcast live online.

That's a pretty big if....

I disagree with many of his views... but the selfishness of the Pauls in not getting behind his candidacy makes me pity the man

If he does well this round (over a percentage point) then sure.

I would not call it selfish at all. Ron Paul got behind Chuck Baldwin in 2008, and Chuck Baldwin was a radio pastor that only those in the Constitution Party would know of. Baldwin had a quarter of the money Johnson raises in just one month, and had little if any ground organization. But the key point was that Paul and Baldwin had the same views. Paul and Johnson do not. I still support Johnson, but I don't think Paul should have to endorse him.

Ron Paul is damned if he does endorse Johnson for "splitting votes", and damned if he didn't for being "selfish."

I would vote for him if he got the chance... again.

I'd vote for him if I'm not super-enthusiastic about the GOP candidate.

Well someone's gotta fill the gap between now and when it's Rand Paul's turn.

Would he run as a Republican?  He might get some traction as they reward 2nd time candidates.

Not ones who ran against the official nominee, or libertarians.
