A few days after Pennsylvania Republican Rep. Mike Kelly said that President Barack Obama “divides us on race,” his Republican colleague from Florida called the president’s signature health care law “racist” because of its tax on tanning salons.

Freshman Rep. Ted Yoho told constituents at a town hall event that a provision in Obamacare imposing a 10 percent tax on tanning bed use was a “racist tax” that discriminates “because of the color of my skin.”

At the same event, Yoho also said he would back legislation slated to be introduced by Rep. Steve Stockman, R-Texas, that would, according to Yoho, “look into the birth certificate” accusations that Obama wasn’t born in the United States.

In case you missed it, these people are governing.

No, they are obstructing. President Obama and the Senate are governing.

The irony of this whole thing is that he also said at that same event he would support a birther bill that is being proposed in Congress. These people really don't know the definition of irony or the feeling of embarrassment.

I don't care if we are talking about Democrats or Republicans these ridiculous gerrymandered districts need to go.  They are destroying the Republican party.  These people just do and say anything and keep getting reelected.

Seriously Democrats and Republicans need to be for the most part put in districts where they have to listen and deal with a diversity of voices and quit saying cr@p like this.

A little name calling to get under each other's skin never hurt anyone in politics. I'm glad to be entertained by the drama.

How delightfully immature.  As bad as name calling is the racism and bigotry of the far right is deplorable.

House Republicans have found President Obama guilty of governing while black.  Kind of like how the police stop people for driving while black.

Yes everyone is out to get blacks. I never realized it until you just made your statement. Now I'm convinced and voting Democrat for the rest of my life. They're all out to get black people.
