I'm guessing you were referring to Social Security. People like that Social Security is a guaranteed payment that requires no hassle and no maintenance. It's got a lot of rational people, but one person got mad at me for fiinding that some probability of exit polls being a certain way was something like 1 in 100 million instead of the 1 in 1 billion they found.
