Shrunk from the last poll... There's also the fact that the holy PPP had Foley up at this point and he lost

Desperate 16 year-old hack is getting desperate. And quit claiming Malloy's actions have negatively affected your life, you're 16 dude!

Assuming I stay in this state, they WILL affect me. And you can't be much older

....so Malloy's lead is going to expand?

No. I was suggesting that it would be reversed this time

A question. Do you guys even know Malloy's policies or do you just see the D after his name? What has he done?

Malloy's been a terrific governor. He has:

-Increased the minimum wage to $10.10/hour
-Gotten rid of the death penalty
-Paid sick leave
-Expanded voting rights
-Investments in early childhood education

He was a great leader during the Sandy Hook tragedy and led the way in implementing new gun control laws in its wake that have helped to dramatically reduce murder rates in the state. He tackled the deficit by increasing taxes on the rich, while at the same time cutting taxes for the poor (through the state EITC), and not gutting public services and public employee unions, like the right-wingers in so many other states have.

Frankly it's pretty ridiculous that he's not leading by more, but I guess Connecticut does have a pretty big population of selfish rich poor-haters.

Foley chastised some workers, basically telling them they should lose their jobs, and his debate performances have been fairly meh. That, and Connecticut is one place where attacking Obama makes no sense, so Malloy having Obama in Connecticut is a good move for him.

These are good things, but frankly his tax increases, broken promise of a return, horrendous budget, and totalitarian gun laws leave a sour taste in my family's mouth

Being up on RCP did Foley a lot of good in 2010.

Even PPP had him ahead then!

Then why are polls this late even trusted in this state? 2010 was honestly the year of inaccuracy in a lot of races.

This was amazing. Maybe just a broken wing, since I'll be lapping up you guys's tears when it becomes apparent that a turtle will be in charge of the Senate for at least 2 years

Well, the Senate moves legislation about as fast as a turtle anyway, so I doubt there will be much difference. :P

So nothing gets done, same as before. If nothing else, the government is consistent.
