They were not as fun to play as they would have been on later versions, but they included almost presidential elections as well as many senate and gubernatorial elections, non-US elections, hypothetical scenarios, future scenarios (some of which, of course, are now historical scenarios) and fictional scenarios.
In terms of playability, 2008 for sure. 2012/2016/Infinity would be if not for the confusing layout. There was also a now-obscure 2000 version (titled "President 2000" IIRC) that had cartoon default pictures of Gore and Bush. |
