Title: Andorra Parliamentary Election - March 1, 2015

Thanks to their voting system the government of Andorra got reelected, but with a reduced majority. That means the adaption of the countrys banking legisltion to comply with EU-rules go ahead. After being part of DA in 2011 the Liberals are running solo again this time and got eight seats.

Democrats for Andorra (Centre-right) 37,0% 15 (20)
Liberals of Andorra 27,7% 8 (new)
Social Democratic Party 23,5% 3 (6)
Social Democracy and Progress 11,7% 2 (new)
Lauredian Union nil (2) conservative/regionalist - affiliated with the Liberals

14 seats elected using PR in ne constituency, 14 in 7 double-seat parish constituencies.

A bit of background. The Liberals split from DA trying to prevent the abolishment of banking secrecy and more deals with the EU. The long run goal of DA is Andorran EU membership and they want to establish personal (and progressive) income tax.
