Post by: DKrol on April 04, 2015, 07:48:55 PM
Quote
North East Exams Act
1. The North East region shall not require students to sit examinations at the end of each year.
2. Controlled Assessments shall be made available to anyone who doesn't wish to sit an exam.

Debate will last for 72 hours.

Rep. Clyde1998, you have 36 hours to advocate for your bill.

Can the sponsor clarify a bit more? Does this prevent teachers from setting a mandatory final exam for their classes or is it only for standardized testing?

Yeah, it's been 36 hours, but I guess since it would be next in line for the queue anyway (because the budget has its own slot), there's no point in re-introducing it.

As the sponsor has failed to advocate for his bill, I will be removing it from the floor. It will be reintroduced in the next NE1 slot.

I hadn't seen this before now. I'm willing to wait for this to go into the next NE1 slot, if that's required now.
