I have already read in a book that considering the five biggest Western European powers (UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain), the USA has not fought a war only against France. But now I learned that the USA have already fought a war against France too. So, the USA have already been in a war against the five biggest Western European powers. It's a pretty small war compared to the others. And it had the US and UK on the same side against France, which is kind of weird since it was in between the Revolutionary War and the Napoleonic Wars (which includes the War of 1812), which had the US and France on the same side against the UK.
