Paul.  Foreign policy is what the president has the most control over.

Bernie. Let the people see what the left really looks like once and for all. Our country is strong enough that we can weather it for four years.

 Rand Paul. No brainer.

Bush - hopefully he'd serve to discredit both the "two party" system  and the Republicans without doing too much damage along the way, or being too-scary in office himself. Cruz and his fellow nutters (including Trump) scare me deep down in ways that the "establishment" Republicans don't (even though I think they're awful too).

Christie - sane person who is ready to govern, but is probably still beatable in 2020.

I like Paul's foreign policy, but I'd still go with Christie for reasons mentioned above.

The Donald. I also accept Paul, because foreign policy.

Hillary Clinton, because she won't tax the clothes off of my back and isn't a socialist.

Hillary Clinton because she has the most impressive resume of anybody currently seeking the office

That's not an option. You have to pick one.

Overall I do like Bush and I do think he would make an above average executive when he doesn't have to campaign. That being said I think Paul stole my support due to his foreign policy stances at this last debate. I think it will be meaningless by the time the race comes to Illinois, but if I decide to vote in the GOP primary, I think Paul will get my vote.

I don't have to do anything. I said none of them and I am entitled to an opinion. Thanks.

I want Clinton to win the Democrat nomination because Sanders (and, to a greater extent, his supporters) are awful and don't deserve nice things.

I want Trump to win the Republican nomination because he's a FF who will make America great again.

Kasich/O'Malley

Voted O'Malley because I'm supporting Kasich right now.

Kasich or Trump.

Martin O'Malley is the only Democrat running for President who isn't either corrupt or for "free" education.

O'Malley because he is the most hawkish.

I'm a registered Democrat who is supporting Sanders in the primaries (O'Malley is my second choice). Of the Republicans, I like Kasich (economic and social moderate; reasonable foreign policy) the best. Trump (economic and social moderate), Paul (non-interventionist), Pataki (socially liberal), Graham (economic moderate), and Gilmore (reasonable foreign policy and socially moderate) are also decent.

Sanders for a GOP win in 2020.

Not taking that into account, probably O'Malley

Martin O'Malley. Not socialist like Sanders, not a criminal liability like Clinton. Also much younger than the other two.

Difficult choice. Sanders is more trustworthy on foreign policy, gun rights, and immigration. However, unlike with Clinton (who would never implement any policy before first clearing it with her Wall Street benefactors), Sanders runs a non-insignificant chance of trying to turn the country into Kampuchea. Do I drink the low-dose poison that will slowly kill me over a number of years, or do I opt for Russian roulette?

I'd have to say Kasich or Bush. Christie might be OK, but I'm afraid of his temper in that role.

lol at Pataki being a Rockefeller Republican. Pataki is deeply conservative.

Kasich or Pataki. Rubio, is a tea patier, who supports Obamacare repeal, but favors immigration. Kasich or Pataki arent going anywhere, though.

Would Lincoln Chafee have been considered a Rockefeller Republican?

As a Republican I would say whichever Democrat is the most conservative.  Jim Webb maybe but now he is out.  Joe Biden 2nd, because he is qualified and competent, but of course he is out at least for now.  Hillary is a liar and a Clinton but she is not a full blown socialist like Sanders.  Of the 3 still running, Martin O'Malley just because he may be the least awful, with Hillary 2nd.
