Talk Elections

The President, and his office should be the leading voice of activity for Atlasia. These reforms are necessary to ensure that the President leads by example, and guides the game into the bright light of reform.

1.) The Presidential Office shall publish a weekly update and schedule planned for that week by the President.

2.) The President shall publish a foreign activities itinerary, in collaboration with the GM.

3.) If so required/requested, the President shall appear before the Senate and House every two weeks to answer questions, queries and issues that they may have surrounding the state of the nation.

4.) The President shall appoint a Cabinet, which shall meet at least every two weeks.

5.) The President shall deliver a state of the Union address every month.

6.) The President shall have bi-lateral meetings with the Governors of the three regions every 4 weeks.

National Security Council

The National Security Council (or the NSC) is hereby to be created. Members shall be the President, Vice-President, Secretary of the Interior and Foreign Affairs and three additional National Security Council Members.

1.) These members shall receive confidential briefings from the GM surrounding global, and domestic security.

Presidential Staff

1.) The President where necessary shall appoint a staff to assist in the actives of the office

Nomination to the Position of Secretary of Interior Affairs

Harry S Truman, is hereby nominated to become Secretary of the Interior.

North Carolina Yankee is nominated to be Vice-President

Clean Coasts and Seas Act (CCSA)
This bill acknowledges the long term, destructive damage done to Atlasia’s water ways, rivers, coastal areas and surrounding seas as a result of pollution. The following actions are hereby taken to alleviate this pollution, and to work towards a new agenda of promoting sustainable growth.

1.)   The Atlasian Import-Export Bank shall begin to disinvest from projects both in Atlasia, and around the world that that are judged to have emitted harmful levels of polluting agents to water supplies.
2.)   A Federal Moratorium on the use of hydraulic fracking is hereby declared, coming into effect on the 1st January 2017.
3.)   A ban is hereby imposed on deep sea trawling, carried out by Atlasian fishing vessels

Plastic Levy
1.)   A 10% levy is hereby placed upon the purchase of plastic water bottles. Exemptions shall apply for medical facilities.
2.)   A 5 cent levy shall be mandatory on the sale of plastic bags all commercial outlets, with employees of more than 100 people. Outlets with less than 100 employees shall be encouraged to phase out plastic bags, and provide paper bags

Executive Order 002

A Moratorium is hereby declared on Hydraulic Fracking on federal lands managed by Bureau of Land Management

Executive Order 003

The Atlasian Commerce Department is to hereby ban the export of diesel which contains 20 parts per million (ppm) of Sulfur Dioxide.

Executive Order 004

Access through federally owned land, is hereby denied to the Dakota Access pipeline.

Kingpoleon's nomination for Secretary of State is hereby withdrawn

Rep. Ted Bessell is hereby nominated for Secretary of State

Executive Order 005
Action on Syria

1.)The Government of Atlasia condemns the barbarous actions of the Syrian Government, and it's Russian allies in Aleppo and across Syria. The Government of Atlasia calls on the UN Security council to approve no-fly zone over Syria, and to agree to an immediate ceasefire to allow aid, and food into the region.

2.) The Government of Atlasia hereby gives the government of Syria and Russia 24 hours to agree to a ceasefire, a no fly zone and a safe passage of civilians in the area surrounding Aleppo.

3.) The ban on weaponry to the Syrian Democratic Forces is hereby lifted, under the authority of the 1976 Arms Control Act.

Executive Order 006: Action against Daesh
1. ) The Republic of Atlasia declares the the group known as Daesh, operating out of Mosul and the surrounding areas of Iraq and Syria, are a threat to the national security of Atlasia. The Republic of Altasia recognizes the request by the government of Iraq for support in defeating, and under the terms of UN Security Council resolution 2249 begins action against Daesh in Mosul.

2.) Military air strikes, in collaboration with our allies in NATO and the Middle East shall begin against Daesh in Iraq.

3.) 2,000 military troops are deployed to support, train and aid the Iraqi and Kurdish Armed forces in the battle against Daesh.

4.) The AS George H.W Bush and AS Dwight D. Eisenhower are hereby deployed to the begin action against Daesh

5) Under the arms export act of 1976, the Foreign Military Sales program can begin to provide arms to the Peshmerga forces fighting Daesh.

Executive Order 007
Creation of the National Security Council


In order to coordinate and protect the military and security of the Republic of Atlasia, a National Security Council is hereby created to advise the President. Up to three members of the NSC can be appointed by the President. All these members shall have access to classified information regarding the security of Atlasia, and it's current operations.

The Security Council is hereby authorized to work with other Cabinet Members, Governors and Congressional officials to help protect Atlasia.

Executive Order 008

The Republic of Atlasia, under the terms of the 1992 United Nation Framework hereby formally agrees to the Paris 2015 Climate Agreement, and pledges to work towards creating a national strategy to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and to create a truly sustainable society
