Title: Clark County without Las Vegas Post by: Anzeigenhauptmeister on September 13, 2017, 03:04:06 PM Las Vegas amounts to about 30% of Clark County's population. If you take away Las Vegas' citizens, would the rest of the county still be heavily Democratic?

(They're in North Las Vegas.) Moreover, some of the more Republican parts of Clark County are in Las Vegas proper (Summerlin and the other wealthy western suburbs). Overall, I wouldn't consider Las Vegas proper especially more urban than the rest of the county, and the county as a whole is not nearly as politically polarized geographically as most urban/suburban US counties.
