Title: The Best Campaign Slogan in History
Post by: PBrunsel on May 13, 2004, 03:01:14 PM
There are many good ones to chose from.

I think the best campaign slogan in history was Grover Cleveland's in 1884, "James, James, James G. Blaine, the Continental Liar from the State of Maine.

Un président jeune, pour une France moderne (A young President, for a modern France): Mitterrand 1965
Un homme neuf, une France en marche (A new man, an active France): Lecanuet 1965

All awfully tin pot, with the exception of L'Anti-Giscard
