Only Christmas, but I'll occassionally, say, light a manora with some Jewish friends (who tend to forget I'm Catholic, because of me being named "Reese" :P).

Christmas, only.  Although, I wouldn't really mind celebrating Hanukkah, I just never pay enough attention to know when it is :P

None of the above!  It is such a luxury being an expatriate during the holidays - nothing is closed!

I partake in both Hanukkah and Xmas secularly, if you will.  I don't go to mass or go waving stars and candles.

Christmas...and my birthday...oh don't get me wrong, I'm not pompous, but my family uses it as an excuse to get together and party especially when they couldn't do so at Thanksgiving.

Kwanzaa is just some politically correct BS pulled out of some obscure african tradition by some stupid bureacrats.

Yeah.  MY dad told me it was created by some ex-convict in the '60's.  That doesn't make it much more credible, though, does it?

I have to agree.

What pisses me off is when people elevate it to the level of Christmas.  It is not a religious holiday, and most blacks are Christian and already celebrate Christmas anyway.  Kwanzaa is more like a long St. Patrick's Day, or something like that.  Just because it's right after Christmas doesn't elevate it to the level of Christmas or even Hannukah.

If memory serves me right, I believe it was a "holiday" made up by a professor at Temple University (One of the colleges I applied to) right here in Philly. Something about celebrating the African harvest, I believe.

I thought it was created by somebody at Berekley in 1968?

Hannukah is a relatively minor holiday, it just gets so much attention for being so close to Christmas. It's nothing on the level of Christmas. Of course the fact that most blacks are Christian and thus celebrate Christmas too makes giving it that level of attention pointless.

And Christmas and and my birthday.

36 people have voted.  Of them, 34 voted Christmas.  3 have voted none of the above.

Do the math.

I second that motion.

I celebrate Christmas. I suppose that makes me a hypocrite since I bash American Christianity the other 364 days of the year, but there are some presents I'm too cheap to buy.

I wish I could say I celebrated Hannukah, but its more of a private and family holiday, its not like Passover where I get invited by my Jewish friends.

None of the above. "Observe" Christmas is more like it. The December holiday that I *celebrate* is New Year's Eve.
