When Bob Riley's approval ratings were in the toilet, he was narrowly behind or tied. Siegelman was behind, actually. Now, his approval ratings are generally positive and he is only ahead by 7. I would have guessed a larger margin. In any case, this is still a fairly solid GOP seat, and I doubt Roy Moore will be an issue.
