I have no control on how it is formatted.

I have no control on how it is formatted. No, I mean the subject of the poll here. :) Sorry for the confusion. By the way, my thanks for posting all of these -- I'm glad someone does it, and you certainly have your finger on the pulse of the polls being released. Title: Re: Rasmussen: Lamont leads in the primary and is tied in the general Post by: Boris on July 22, 2006, 03:33:52 PM Wait a second...Something here makes absolutely no sense mathematically. If Lamont is leading Lieberman 51-41 in the primary, how can he be tied with Lieberman in the general? For this to happen, Lamont has to be only trailing by a slight margin among independents and Republicans.
Anyways, if further polls confirm this result, we've got a race going on in CT. Title: Re: Rasmussen: Lamont leads in the primary and is tied in the general Post by: Amenhotep Bakari-Sellers on July 22, 2006, 05:31:12 PM Lieberman is running as an independent in the general.

For this to happen, Lamont has to be only trailing by a slight margin among independents and Republicans. Or you have a large (most likely, too large) sample of Democrats who will choose to back the party choice regardless of who they support in the primary.
