Title: Kerry declared the victor
Post by: 7,052,770 on January 19, 2004, 09:49:38 PM
CNN now reports that Kerry is projected to win, with Edwards a close second and Dean a distant third.

How is New Hampshire and later affected now?

83% reporting

Kerry - 38%
Edwards - 32%
Dean - 18%
Gephardt - 11%
Kucinich - 1%
All Others - 0%

This is a huge win for Kerry.  A 20 point swing over Dean should push him to at least a 2nd place finish in New Hampshire.

This also kills Gephardt's campaign.

Look for Dean's numbers to really drop in New Hampshire.  Kerry will now take the lead there.  Look for Edwards to surge there although he won't win.  Not a good night for Dean.  Not good news for Clark either.

I predict the final results in NH to be:
Kerry

Edwards

Dean and Clark tied for third.

His reaction hurt more than his coming in third. All the radio stations here are talking about Dean losing his mind last night.
