In Britain the tradition is to write Yours Sincerely if you are addressing someone you know or know the name of and Yours Faithfully if you don't know them or their name. Generally the name part isn't used and it is just Yours Sincerely to those you know and Yours Faithfully to those you don't. Named for the British Challenger II ship which chartered the depth.
Just to put this in perspective, the Trench is about 11 kilometres or 7 miles deep. If you cut Mount Everest off at ground level and dropped it into the trench, the tip wouldn't reach the surface. Everest is only put at about 8850 metres, the Trench breaks 11000 metres.
