Title: October 2006 Southeast Region Gubernatorial Election
Post by: Reaganfan on October 20, 2006, 06:15:54 PM
Voting is currently open and will end at 11:59 pm Central Time on Sunday, October 22 (12:59 am Eastern Time on Monday, October 23).

The October 2006 election shall be conducted in strict accordance with the Southeastern Election Regulations (http://www.geocities.com/southeastgov/reg002.html).  You must be an eligible, registered voter of the Southeastern Region during the entire time this election is open in order for your vote to be valid.  Editing a ballot disqualifies it.  All discussion of the election should be conducted in a separate thread.

Southeast Region has an approval voting for regional elections.  List all persons of whom you approve for Governor and Lieutenant Governor; no preference order is necessary.  In the event that multiple candidates should be tied for most approvals, a runoff will be held.  Voters may write in the name of any Southeast resident in addition to or instead of the candidates on this ballot.

There is a Gubernatorial Election on the ballot this month.  The announced candidate is current Southeast Region Governor Mike Naso of Texas.  This is an approval election, so you may approve of as many candidates as you want.

There is no Lt. Gubernatorial Election on the ballot this month.
