Title: Who will be the Mike Gravel of the Republican debate?
Post by: Eraserhead on April 27, 2007, 09:42:39 PM
I would guess Paul or Tancredo but I could see a couple others adopt that role as well.

Tom Tancredo, he seems more rash. Paul is pretty calm, even if people think he's crazy, I'm sure they'll think he is at the least, a good representative of his platform.

Tancredo. Gravel echoed many of the sentiments of the Democratic base; Tancredo will do the same for the Republicans. Paul has little connection to the Republican base.

Paul, because he is going to say a lot of things that aren't in touch with mainstream republicanism, and he is going to surprise people with said things.

Hmm, Paul could throw a wrech in but he is a bit too calm. Tancredo represents my district so I know full well he's a little nutty. Tancredo gets my vote

Hm, the only one to passionately speak the truth and attack even party members personally for their comformity to mainstream political opinions? I don't think the Republican party stands for those values.

The best candidate in the debate will speak his mind and be the Gravel of the debate, and of course the candidate who I am supporting out of the bunch in the debate, Tom Tancredo

Tancredo would be my guess. Paul's too soft spoken, and none of the other candidates are that crazy.
