Ireland, Gwynedd, Deheubarth, Powys, and Mercia.
Except for the landlocked provinces, players may choose whether to initially build a fleet or army. The first full round is named 851. Armies may cross the Menai Straits. Standard rules otherwise.

Mmm...the opportunities for Irish expansion seem quite limited.

This is a map of a particular game, in 860. Earlier rounds seem not to be available, but there's a graph showing Ireland at seven centers at one point.

Ive never played Diplomacy cause I can never find any friends or family willing to spend the day doing it. Anyone got a rule run down?

Is Ireland actually able to do anything at all in this?
