LA Times provides entertainment between Zogby polls. Title: Re:New LA Times Poll Post by: The Vorlon on August 25, 2004, 09:47:21 PM Bush +3 LA Times provides entertainment between Zogby polls. Really...? LA Times has Bush +3...? Link... ??? ??? ??? Title: Re:New LA Times Poll Post by: agcatter on August 25, 2004, 09:48:48 PM Registered voters. My friend said it is up on the LA Times website.
Title: Re:New LA Times Poll Post by: agcatter on August 25, 2004, 10:02:04 PM poll shows Bush only losing 3% of Rebublicans and Kerry losing 15% of Dems......and yet only a 3 pt difference overall. I'll never understand their methodology over there.
Title: Re:New LA Times Poll Post by: The Vorlon on August 25, 2004, 10:02:34 PM Wow...
Party ID in poll is "about" Dems 39 GOP 32 Ind 29 RV poll, with too many dems and still Bush +3. Somebody at LA Times polling going be fired :) Title: Re:New LA Times Poll Post by: agcatter on August 25, 2004, 10:04:41 PM +7 Democratic sample is pretty good for an LA Times poll isn't it?
Title: Re:New LA Times Poll Post by: The Vorlon on August 25, 2004, 10:08:13 PM +7 Democratic sample is pretty good for an LA Times poll isn't it? Only 3% too democratic in the sample. In this olympic season I think the LA Times set a "personal best" Title: Re:New LA Times Poll Post by: agcatter on August 25, 2004, 10:10:52 PM I'll give them a bronze.
Title: Re:New LA Times Poll Post by: agcatter on August 25, 2004, 10:23:45 PM Still, I don't trust the LA Times. I think it's a setup to make sure Bush's post convention bounce isn't too large.

I trust the LA Times less than Zogby Title: Re:New LA Times Poll Post by: AuH2O on August 25, 2004, 10:37:13 PM I do find it mildly odd they would put this out.
BTW, I do actually think Bush is up around 2 nationally, since RV polls have it tied and those lean Dem a bit. The state results are mixed but don't disprove the notion. Title: Re:New LA Times Poll Post by: Reds4 on August 25, 2004, 11:15:47 PM AgCat, I agree. I believe this is a setup, just wait until after the convention. Front page story will be "No Bush Bounce in Polls"
Title: Re:New LA Times Poll Post by: Rococo4 on August 25, 2004, 11:50:11 PM AgCat, I agree. I believe this is a setup, just wait until after the convention. Front page story will be "No Bush Bounce in Polls" Thats a good point, one I wouldnt have though of. Well done Title: Re:New LA Times Poll Post by: TheWildCard on August 25, 2004, 11:50:11 PM If L.A. Times says Bush plus 3 I wonder what a good polling firm would say...
Unless of course it's a set up as agcat and reds have said. BTW REDS! It's good to see you sporting an avatar! Title: Re:New LA Times Poll Post by: English on August 26, 2004, 05:03:22 AM Bush up 3% in LA?

Front page story will be "No Bush Bounce in Polls" I'm sure a major Media outlet would never do any such thing ::) The headline will be something like "Bush drops 10% in Polls after Convention" ;D |
