Title: Did Milwaukee vote Bush? I'm confused
Post by: politicaladdict on March 17, 2009, 10:54:15 PM
I heard somewhere that the city of Milwaukee in Wisconsin, voted for Bush. Is this true? for the county in which Milwaukee is in, is heavily against Bush. I heard that a county doesn't always dictate a city, but did Milwaukee city actually vote for Bush?

No idea where you heard that.  Milwaukee is a heavily Democratic city, always has been in modern times.

The city is reliably Democratic. However, its suburbs are very conservative. Kerry didn't even win Milwaukee County outside of Milwaukee City.

No, Milwaukee voted for Kerry with over 70%. However, many Milwaukee surburbs voted for Bush.

As was already stated several times before you bumped an old thread. ::)
