I don't think so.  GfK is apparently the same GfK that polls in Germany.  It's a phone poll.

Yes, Gesellschaft für Konsumforschung (GfK) is a german firm, it's germanys biggest market research company.

But GfK is unknown in political polling.

Really ? Maybe in Germany. In Austria they are regularly conducting polls. For example, just recently in the September 28 Parliamentary Elections.

Not in the homemarket here in germany - Tender Branson talked about polling in germany.

GfK is concentrated on consume research and TV viewing ratings.

Today ABC News and Washington Post released a daily tracking poll.

"The Post-ABC national tracking poll started Oct. 16, the day after the final presidential debate, and continues through Nov. 3. Each day's release includes the results of a multiple-night track - a "rolling average" - of interviews with approximately 450 randomly-selected adults each day. This release reports the results from interviewing conducted Thursday through Sunday night, with 1,366 likely voters."
