When looking at the debate in a vacuum, I think McCain won it, if only because he did slightly better at the end.
However, in the greater context of the election, Obama wins, so he just needed to keep the race where it is.
Personally, neither did great in my opinion. When McCain got feisty it did start to remind me of the old McCain. But he still hasn't won my vote back, though the debate softened me on Obama a bit.
With that in mind, I voted McCain in the poll.
True Dem...you are no longer a "McCain Democrat"? I am undecided now. McCain (and especially Palin) have been pissing me off a late. And it's looking increasingly like my vote is Obama's to lose. That being said, I want to vote for McCain. I really do want to; I just don't know if I can, with the way he has been acting.

Unless McCain has at least a Kerry-type game changer, I think it's over for him.
You said IIRC that the debates may sway your vote (?) How do things stand at the moment? Unless McCain changes something about his campaign or how he presents himself, I may just vote for Obama. I desperately want to vote for McCain (especially the McCain of 2000). I just don't know if I can. My heart says McCain, but my head is starting to lean towards Obama.

No idea at this point. I am completely undecided.
Opposite of most people, my heart says McCain, but my head says Obama.
You are undecided? Even though you are a McCain Democrat? Well, I was a McCain Democrat, and I could still very well vote for McCain, but the more I learn about Palin, the more I question McCain's judgment.

Tough choice between Bide and McCain, but definitely McCain if it's the 2000 version (which I suspect would happen in this race).
However, either Palin or Obama wins it. The loonies on both sides are too big, and Biden and McCain would split the middle. Probably Palin wins it, since Biden could get some of the leftist vote.
