Mr. Kemp is one of the most reasonable people on here, and he's one of the few Patriot fans who isn't a total asshole about it......  Tongue

Nope, no desire to.

I might make an exception if the scumball with hood and knife was getting his chopped off though.

She's a political science professor at Stanford.  And she's not going to be the VP nominee.

Why? Because she won't be asked, or because she doesn't want to?

Both

Torie and his likes should be guillotined.

Enough with the Guillotine, can't you people think of any other way to kill someone?

None more pleasurable, you see.

10  General Politics / International General Discussion / Re: BREAKING: American forces bomb ISIS targets in Iraq on: September 18, 2014, 11:35:39 am
it's amazing how easily the war machine can be fired up.  every news affiliate is running stories "ISIS recruiting Americans and smuggling across Mexican border?  details at 7"  this after Iraq-2003 became the most unpopular war in the history of post-industrial revolution imperial society.  it helps that it's a Democrat, otherwise liberals would be asking the more uncomfortable questions, while Republicans are only capable of thinking of it as a "bad investment"

It looks like ISIS will be used as an excuse to go after Assad. We'll give arms to some "moderate" Al Qaeda affiliated rebel groups. I'm sure things will go great there.

Wow, you really have no clue.
I heard Chuck Hagel say quite clearly that we are only arming rebel groups at war with both Assad and ISIS. So, this is an indirect attempt to oust him as well.

Tony's blinders surprise me here.

The diet thing is a total lost cause. I'm just hoping he can keep his job at this point.

Me too.  This "logistics" bs isn't making much sense.  Something smells wrong.

Oh my goodness, Mr Moderate.  Did you really have to condemn my food choice for tomorrow night?  At least it's not a large burger and large fries.  I see nothing wrong with spaghetti.

Bushie, did you read Moderate's quote.  He was speaking from his days as a fellow fat man......he's been where you are.  Now he's half of who he was, but only due to hard work.  He has every right to be critical given his success.

Shouldn't Shylock be the one under fire?

Shouldn't Shakespeare be the one under fire?

Why do you want to throw water on people's right to be offended, men?

I think Scotland leaving would be a foolish decision, but I respect their right to make their own decision. Of course, opebo should not have been banned.

Ramen is cheap and low on calories because it does nothing. Any time I've eat Ramen I'm hungry again in 10 minutes.

But when  you're 285 and feel like you've had no food it's BAD news.
16  Forum Community / Forum Community / Re: Update XVII: I Ate The Strawberry (The REAL, AUTHENTIC Update) on: September 17, 2014, 03:07:22 pm
HD, I always stay in the office for lunch and have either a block of Ramen or a Mac and cheese cup.  It's not a gourmet lunch and I am usually starving by the time I get off of an evening, but they're low on calories and don't cost me anything more than what I pay at the store.  I need to find some variety, but I don't know good and fast alternatives.  I only have 30 minutes for lunch.

Today I had an egg and blueberry yogurt for breakfast, a plum for a mid morning snack, canned chicken (5 oz) with relish for lunch, raw cauliflower and grapes for an afternoon snack.  Takes 10 minutes in the morning to gather the stuff for work.  I'm full and I'll eat salmon with brussell sprouts for dinner.  That's around 1500-1600 calories max and it's PLENTY of food.

Having a ramen or mac cup just makes you gorge later....but we've beaten this horse to death.

What about MLB?  Ok MLB has its juicers, but is it me or considering these guys are playing the longest season in sports, the amount of time they get in trouble for off field stuff is negligible.  Why?
Baseball players, like hockey players, tend to come from middle class Americans and a handful of Latin America countries for baseball and a few European countries/Canada for hockey.  None of which have a high rate of domestic violence issues, AFAIK.  Football and basketball tend to get more than their fair share of inner city kids and hicks.

It's pretty hard to argue with that, even if it isn't so pretty of a truth.
