24076  Forum Community / Forum Community / Re: Inks.LWC's dating advice on: May 27, 2007, 11:57:47 pm
Yes, I have a question: how does a 17-year-old come to possess intimate enough knowledge of dating that he can give advice to other people to solve their problems?

The better question is why a 21 year old Canadian is so confident that a 17-year old doesn't possess dating knowledge.  Eh.

It's great to be in this position working with Lt. Governor Hashemite.

I'll use this thread for my announcements, but don't hesitate to stop by and post a question, comment, care, or concern!

Alcon - stop harassing Naso - just because his face looks like that and has hair that looks like it's on fire doesn't mean you can make fun of him.

So - Naso,

1st - that first picture - you look like Biff from Back to the Future - perhaps that's one of your 1970s/80s women problem causers (that makes no sense, but w/e)

So - burn that picture by placing it on top of your head.  Your hair will do the rest.

2nd - what's w/ the black?  Are you going for a halloween theme here?

3rd - the biker look - it makes you look older.  Go with some tropical look to pick up some hotter (but still older) women (like Nadia)

or go with an off white or light blue Hollister shirt and either jeans or kahkis to pick up some younger chicks.
24080  Atlas Fantasy Elections / Atlas Fantasy Government / Re: Swearing in of New Officeholders on: May 27, 2007, 11:13:38 pm

24081  General Politics / U.S. General Discussion / Re: Dr. Death's case founders as he is freed. on: May 27, 2007, 11:07:55 pm
He's a terribly wicked man who should be put in jail until he dies.
Because...?

Because he's murdering people!
24082  General Politics / U.S. General Discussion / Re: Do you believe Gore would've invaded Iraq? on: May 27, 2007, 11:06:13 pm
No - but he probably would've invaded Afghanistan.

Yep.  But there are few people who argue with the War in Afghanistan.

Right - I just wanted to point that out though - although I think we're all in agreement for the most part.
24083  Forum Community / Forum Community / Re: Guys: Have you ever had a girlfriend? on: May 27, 2007, 11:01:57 pm
Eh... kinda

What the ho does that mean?
24084  Forum Community / Forum Community / Inks.LWC's dating advice on: May 27, 2007, 10:59:12 pm
OK - so I'm gonna do a Dr. Ruth/Laura/Dear Jane/Dear John (if necessary) thing for the forum.

You come to me with your dating (or other problem) and I give you advice.
24085  Forum Community / Forum Community / How often do you... on: May 27, 2007, 10:56:25 pm
Without looking up the word (ruins the fun for people who didn't know what it means) - answer the question.

NOTE: Daily means once a day.
24086  General Politics / Political Debate / Re: Which was/is less of a success? on: May 27, 2007, 10:51:57 pm
I voted for more of a success (DOH!)  Prohibition was - The repeal was teh only citizen-initiated amendment ever - that tells you something.
24087  General Politics / Political Debate / Re: Should tobacco advertising be banned? on: May 27, 2007, 10:45:21 pm
No - and it's not the tobacco companies' fault that you smoke - it's yours, so get over it!
24088  General Politics / Political Debate / Re: Death Penalty: Economic or Social? on: May 27, 2007, 10:43:41 pm
More social than economic.
24089  General Politics / Political Debate / Re: Should gambling be outlawed? on: May 27, 2007, 10:41:17 pm
No of course not, nor restricted in any way.

i actually agree with opebo on this one.

And I also disagree with Dobson

As do I - I see nothing wrong w/ gambling - but their needs to be restrictions that keep kids off of it.  Other than that, I don't care if you bet your house away.
24090  General Politics / U.S. General Discussion / Re: FDA Keeps Ban On Gay Men As Blood Donors on: May 27, 2007, 06:39:59 pm
Just curious - how do they know they don't lie about being gay?
24091  General Politics / U.S. General Discussion / Re: FDA Keeps Ban On Gay Men As Blood Donors on: May 27, 2007, 06:37:53 pm
No.  Thats what testing is for....

It says in the article itself that the testing isnt' 100% accurate - and I REALLY don't want aids.
24092  Forum Community / Forum Community / Re: Guys: Have you ever had a girlfriend? on: May 27, 2007, 06:35:35 pm
His dead lizard.

Alright then.

Naso - a priority tip:
1. God
2. Local republican candidate
3. Nadia Yassir
4. Girlfriend
5. You
6. Lizard

You got 'em a little wacky I think.  So follow those right above this sentence.
24093  Forum Community / Forum Community / Re: How many elections have you skipped? on: May 27, 2007, 06:29:35 pm
Not eligible yet - but I'll never skip one, not even city elections.
24094  Forum Community / Forum Community / Re: Guys: Have you ever had a girlfriend? on: May 27, 2007, 06:24:31 pm
Or you could settle w/ a poster of Nadia Yassir from 24 (who's really Hispanic).

Don't you just want to....UGH....what a chick.

maybe you should find a chick who's studying to be a meteorologist.

Good advice there.  Stop posting so much here and find some weather girls.

I don't think they're Naso's type, if you know what I mean.

I miss Floyd.

Why are you UGHing Nadia?

OK - me and you are gonna go storm chasing, and find you a girl.  My parents prob. won't let me go - so it'll have to wait until I'm 18 though.

And who's Floyd?
24095  Forum Community / Forum Community / Re: Choice Chain IV on: May 27, 2007, 06:14:04 pm
White hair

Date me or date Naso?
24096  Forum Community / Forum Community / Re: Guys: Have you ever had a girlfriend? on: May 27, 2007, 06:11:31 pm
Never had one...and highly doubt I ever will.

Hmmm . . . either you plan to be gay then or you are going to live in your mothers basement.

Why would you say that? I'm just assuming girls don't want an ugly weather and politics fanatic.

Well, first off you should know that women care less about a guy's looks than guys care about a women's looks - sure they like a hottie, but they don't just go for good looking guys. If you've got something else going for you, then you've still got a shot. Even if you're heavily interested in weather and politics, you probably have other interests. Or maybe you should find a chick who's studying to be a meteorologist.

Or you could lower your standards. Tongue

Look - I'm even worse than Naso - I'm him (w/ normal hair Tongue) but ultraconservative and I got a g/f.

Naso, let me give you some advice:
Put out a personal add and say that you like pina colattas, getting caught in the rain, making love at midnight and something about champaign.

Then a girl who likes all those things will find you - and you'll realize that she's the ex-girlfriend you never had.

That's right - I listen to WNIC's flashback weekends on the radio (and I have a g/f).

Or you could settle w/ a poster of Nadia Yassir from 24 (who's really Hispanic).
24097  General Politics / U.S. General Discussion / Re: A Christian Nation? on: May 27, 2007, 06:04:36 pm
I don't believe so at all... And to prove it, I ask you to look at the religious sentiments of our founding fathers... John Adams was a Unitarian, Benjamin Franklin was a deist who could be described as agnostic... Thomas Jefferson has been called a diest, but I tend to believe he was athiest. George Washington was a diest, who was openly contemptuous of organized religion (Athough he did believe in god).

This country was founded on philosophical democratic republicanisim. A tax issue. Not Judeo-Christian or any other religious values. Many of the men who were most prominant were not members of organized religion (And in some cases) were athiest.

Yet they encouraged Bible reading in schools.
And there were many who were Christians - you name a few who weren't.

24100  General Politics / U.S. General Discussion / Re: Favorite Politicians from Own State on: May 27, 2007, 05:53:06 pm
1. L. Brooks Patterson - Oakland County Executive who said that the Detroit City Council belongs in the zoo!  Go Brooks!

2. Ed Clemente - My state house Rep. (D) - he's really a republican, but has to run as a Dem. to get elected.

3. Dick DeVos - He never should've lost

4. Mitt Romney - I don't care that he's a Mormon - he's now pro-life.

5. Mike Cox - a GREAT Attorney General!  Good at fighting internet crime (child porn, etc... - which is my passion)
