1  Presidential Elections - Analysis and Discussion / 2016 U.S. Presidential Election / Re: Is Obama right that Clinton is the most qualified POTUS candidate ever? on: July 27, 2016, 11:00:46 pm
GW, Adams, Jefferson, and Madison were all more experienced. Of course, experience isn't always an indicator of how good a President someone will be (see Buchanan and Lincoln).
2  Presidential Elections - Analysis and Discussion / 2016 U.S. Presidential Election / Re: Grade Night Three of the DNC on: July 27, 2016, 10:58:46 pm
A+. Absolutely amazing.

It started out standard, but ended up being spectacular.
4  Presidential Elections - Analysis and Discussion / 2016 U.S. Presidential Election / Re: Opinion of President Bill Clinton's speech on: July 26, 2016, 10:48:37 pm
Might have topped his 2012 speech, which I didn't think would be possible.

Kaine
12  Presidential Elections - Analysis and Discussion / 2016 U.S. Presidential Election / Re: Clinton VP news LATEST: NYT: Kaine's the frontrunner; announcement Fri afternoon on: July 22, 2016, 03:04:04 pm
In 2014, 2,184,473 people voted in the Senate election. In 2008, Warner received 2,369,327 votes, and in 2012, Kaine received 2,010,067. You can't compare 2014 with either 2008 or 2012.
13  General Politics / Individual Politics / Re: Best and Worst Senators of the Past 50 Years: Virginia on: July 21, 2016, 12:22:14 pm
John Warner is one of the best Senators of the last 50 years, period.

George Allen sucks.

19  Presidential Elections - Analysis and Discussion / 2016 U.S. Presidential Election / Re: How can Trump win without Pennsylvania? on: July 16, 2016, 02:25:16 pm

See, I just don't agree with that. 2012 + IA + FL + VA + OH doesn't seem outside the realm of possibility, in a world where Trump can win.
20  Presidential Elections - Analysis and Discussion / 2016 U.S. Presidential Election / Re: How can Trump win without Pennsylvania? on: July 16, 2016, 02:04:36 pm

Seems the most likely
21  Presidential Elections - Analysis and Discussion / 2016 U.S. Presidential General Election Polls / Re: VA: Hampton University: Clinton and Trump tied on: July 16, 2016, 01:51:23 pm
Hard to take those crosstabs seriously. Although, if it's tied with those crosstabs, that's also a good sign.
22  Presidential Elections - Analysis and Discussion / 2016 U.S. Presidential Election / Re: How does the Pence pick influence Clinton's running mate choice? on: July 16, 2016, 01:48:20 pm
Hopefully pushes her towards Kaine
23  General Politics / Individual Politics / Re: Evil or Not: Donald Trump on: July 16, 2016, 01:41:17 pm
Walking a thin line between stupid and evil

A 7 point lead is outside the margin of error. So Trump is definitely leading.

That's...not at all how things work.
