Michael Bloomberg Campaign Schedule: September 23th - 29th Mayor Bloomberg sets an aggressive schedule for the week September 23rd: Accompanied by Congresswoman Molinari and Mayor Amicone of YonkersMeet and Greet - Brentwood, New York Meet and Greet - Hicksville, New York Meet and Greet - Bayside, New York Campaign Rally - Queens, New York Appearance on The ViewMichael Bloomberg sits down with the ladies on The View I'm very excited about the upcoming debate. I see it as an excellent opportunity for myself, along with Mr. Nader, to show the American people that they have more options this year than the traditional two-party race. Our internal polls have us tied or leading in quite a few states - I think it's very realistic to say we have an excellent shot at winning the popular vote and a good chance at winning the electoral college, though I do expect that to be an uphill climb.
Americans are tired of the way things are doing - as I travel across this nation and meet with folks, I see that this attitude isn't shared just by certain races, incomes, or religions. My campaign is all about providing the American people with an opportunity - to show them that things don't have to continue down this partisan path our leaders in D.C. have taken us down. It's time to unite America, and that's exactly what I intend to do.September 24th: Accompanied by Colin Powell and Tim CahillMeet and Greet - New Haven, Connecticut Campaign Rally - Hartford, Connecticut Campaign Rally - Springfield, Massachusetts Appearance on HannitySeptember 25th: Accompanied by Colin PowellMeet and Greet - Keene, New Hampshire Town Hall Meeting - Nashua, New Hampshire Campaign Rally - Manchester, New Hampshire Town Hall Meeting - Concord, New Hampshire Flies to MinnesotaSeptember 26th: Accompanied by Oprah WinfreyCampaign Rally - Bloomington, Minnesota Meet and Greet - Eau Claire, Wisconsin Campaign Rally - Madison, Wisconsin Appearance on The Rachel Maddow ShowSeptember 27th: Accompanied by Oprah WinfreyMeet and Greet - Grand Rapids, Michigan Speech at Michigan State University - Lansing, Michigan Meet and Greet - Farmington Hills, Michigan Campaign Rally - Detroit, Michigan Flies to CaliforniaSeptember 28th: Accompanied by Mayor Gavin NewsomCampaign Rally - San Francisco, California Meet and Greet - Santa Cruz, California Meet and Greet - Salinas, California Town Hall Meeting - Bakersfield, California September 29th: Accompanied by Mayor Gavin Newsom, former Mayor James Hahn, and Cindy CrawfordMeet and Greet - North Valley, California Campaign Rally - Los Angelas, California Campaign Rally - Long Beach, California Appearance on KTLA 6 - Los Angelas, California September 30th: Accompanied by Cindy CrawfordMeet and Greet - Riverside, California Opening of New Campaign Office - Irvine, California Meet and Greet - Poway, California Campaign Rally - San Diego, California Michael Bloomberg Opens a New Office in Irvine, California Good afternoon!
The polls are tightening! Each day, our campaign continues to gain momentum, and I know that we will continue this campaign all the way to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue! California plays a crucial role in getting us there, hence why our campaign is investing so much time and resources into this state. I know that on election night, California will surprise the nation by voting for the Bloomberg/Bayh ticket!
I'm proud to have the endorsement of strong executives around this nation, from Mayor Nutter in Philadelphia, to Mayor Newsom in San Fransisco, and former Mayor Hahn right up the road in Los Angelas, who was on the campaign trail with us yesterday. All of these folks understand something that few in Washington seem to get - in order to get things done and move this country back on the right track, we need to start listening to the people. We need to ignore the party bosses and special interests and work across party lines to get the job done. I don't have a party - I don't have a side. As President, I will act in the best interests of the American people, and with that, will work with both sides to find solutions to get this country moving again. Thank you, and God Bless!

I don't think she's intellectually prepared to serve in Congress and I think voters who pay attention will figure that out.
Many politicians have been able to overcome that obstacle and be quite successful. I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that Love will prevail in 2014. I will archive this post in case I am right.

Lisa Endorses Mike! Today, I announce my support for Michael Bloomberg and Evan Bayh.
I'm not endorsing them because I find John McCain and George Pataki to be flawed. Both are excellent men, and if they are elected, I'm sure they will make a fine administration. But I think America needs better than fine. America needs better than what we have seen for the past few decades.
Serving Alaska has been a blessing, and while serving, I have remained committed to putting Alaskans, not Republican leaders, first. Washington D.C. has become engrossed in partisan, party politics, and quite frankly, I have had enough! For a long time, many Americans have complained about how Washington D.C. works, and many of us have felt it to be too corrupt and full of establishment politicians. We feel they have lost touch with us, and instead are only focused on special interests and party leaders.
This election provides us, the silent majority, an excellent opportunity to stand up and say no. We have never had a better opportunity to stand up against the establishment, and we would be fools to pass up this opportunity after complaining for so many years. So if you, like me, are tired of how things are going, do something about it, and join me in electing real leaders - Michael Bloomberg and Evan Bayh.

I don't know why but I thought I remembered her being attacked for being Pro Choice or having Pro Choice "leanings" in 2010 which really didn't make much sense to me back then because Palin was all about her.
Are you confusing that with same-sex marriage? She was attacked for being a part of (and receiving contributions from) Log Cabin Republicans.

Michael Bloomberg Campaign Ad: Too Extreme Michael Bloomberg has released the following television advertisement, bringing up past quotes from former Governor Howard Dean. It will air in all fifty states. Howard Dean Voice-overs:You think the RNC could get this many people of color into a single room? Maybe if they got the hotel staff in there. I hate the Republicans and everything they stand for. I still want to be the candidate for guys with Confederate flags in their pickup trucks. Announcer: And when asked if Iraq was better off without Saddam Hussein, Howard Dean had this to say: We don't know that. Announcer: Even fellow Democrats agree on Howard Dean's divisiveness. Barack Obama Voice-over:As somebody who is a Christian myself, I don't like it when people use religion to divide, whether that is a Republican or Democrat. We are at a time in our country's history that inclusive language is better than exclusive language. Announcer: Howard Dean - A divider, not a uniter. Bloomberg: I'm Michael Bloomberg, and I approve this message.

Michael Bloomberg Campaign Advertisement: Committed Michael Bloomberg has released the following television advertisement, which will air nationwide, with a specific concentration in states with high senior populations, specifically Florida. Announcer: Howard Dean now claims that he supports Medicare. But what did he say about it when he was serving as Governor of Vermont? Howard Dean Voiceover: "one of the worst federal programs ever and a living advertisement for why the government should never administer a national health care program." Michael Bloomberg: As President, I will strongly support the continued existence of Medicare, not demonize it, and will fight to ensure it is properly funded.

We Need a New Direction - Susan Molinari Since 2002, I have watched Mayor Mike Bloomberg serve New York City, and I have been nothing but impressed by the job he has done. He's worked with both sides to accomplish many of the goals he had going in, as well as many more. New York City still has a long way to go, but it is quite obvious that the city has gone through drastic improvements under Mike's leadership. Having served with John McCain as a fellow Republican in Congress, I have great respect for the man. But when making this endorsement, I'm forgetting about party labels. I'm looking for a candidate who will shake up Washington D.C. and bring a new direction to it. Michael Bloomberg is running as an outsider - he isn't part of the D.C. establishment like Governor Dean and Senator McCain. It would be so refreshing to have a leader who isn't so concerned about the party politics, rather interested in the effort to rebuild this nation. I am proud to endorse Michael Bloomberg, and I encourage my fellow Republicans, as well as Independents and Democrats, to stand up to the establishment and do the same. I look forward to doing whatever I can to ensure New York votes Bloomberg this fall!

The week of November 14th - 20th begins now! Little movement was seen this week. Huntsman and Cain both benefited from Bachmann and Pataki's withdrawals. Mitch Daniel's campaign is starting to build momentum, with the Governor leading in Iowa once again, though at this point, it appears that Iowa will really come down to the wire, as will New Hampshire. Endorsement WatchRon Paul: Former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson Mitch Daniels: Entire Indiana GOP Congressional Delegation, Governor Rick Snyder Mike Huckabee: Herman Cain: Bob Vander Plaats Kay Bailey Hutchison: Susan Collins, Elizabeth Dole, John Rich John Huntsman:Kelly Ayotte: Frank Guinta Debate Grades:Mike Huckabee: B Herman Cain: B+ Jon Huntsman: A- Kelly Ayotte: B- Mitch Daniels: A Kay Bailey Hutchison: A- Ron Paul: A- Analysis:Overall, each candidate performed pretty well on this issue, though many voters left the debate feeling there was a lack of specifics discussed. Jon Huntsman gained some traction with his detailed response, despite the lack of zingers some of the other candidates included. While all did well, one candidate stood out, and that was Mitch Daniels. Momentum is starting to form behind his campaign - how long will it last? Debate Question: What is the candidates position on abortion? This turn will be open 48 hours. Please PM me for endorsements. It's difficult for me to reward endorsements when I've received so few requests.

Michael Bloomberg Campaign Schedule: September 16th - 22nd September 16th: Accompanied by Senator Dick Lugar, Mayor McDermottMeet and Greet - Joilet, Illinois Meet and Greet - Chicago Heights, Illinois Town Hall Meeting - Hammond, Indiana Town Hall Meeting - Griffith, Indiana You see, Evan Bayh and I are too individuals who, unlike the other candidates in the race, have a proven record of fighting for bi-partisan solutions. As Mayor, I ran as a Republican but worked quite often with Democrats, and working together, we were able to achieve a balanced budget in our nation, and it's now in the best financial situation it has been in decades. As Governor, Evan Bayh implemented moderate solutions that improved Indiana's education system and kept their economy going strong. He's taken that same approach to Washington D.C., where he has often fought against the party bosses and elite to fight for the good, working man. With this kind of attitude and leadership in Washington, I know we can turn things around!- Mike Bloomberg, speaking at a town hall meeting in Hammond, Indiana September 17th: Accompanied by Senator Dick LugarMeet and Greet - Portage, Indiana Campaign Rally - South Bend, Indiana Town Hall Meeting - Fort Wayne, Indiana Appearance on Larry King LiveSeptember 18th: Accompanied by Colin Powell, Cindy CrawfordMeet and Greet - Defiance, Ohio Campaign Rally - Toledo, Ohio Town Hall Meeting - Monroe, Michigan Appearance on The Today ShowSeptember 19th: Accompanied by Colin Powell, Cindy CrawfordMeet and Greet - Ann Arbour, Michigan Meeting with students at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbour, Michigan Meet and Greet - Taylor, Michigan Campaign Rally - Detroit, Michigan Flies to FloridaBloomberg speaks to students at the University of Michigan Thank you for having me here today. The situation for young Americans has only worsened in recent years, with more and more graduating either unemployed or underemployed. What's even worse, with rising tuition costs, students are also graduating with tens of thousands of dollars in debt. The policies implemented by both Republicans and Democrats have not been good for the future of America, and it's time we start taking steps to fix this, rather than continue down the same path.
As President, I will fight for legislation to reduce the student loan interest rate from 3.4% to .75%, which is the same rate our government gives to big banks. If it's good enough for them, I'd certainly think it's good for the future leaders of America. With moderation, hard work, and the willingness to compromise, I know we can set up an economy and a nation that is ready to handle the many brilliant minds ready to lead our nation!September 20th: Accompanied by Jeff GreeneMeeting with Jewish Leaders - Orlando, Florida Meet and Greet - Kissimmee, Florida Town Hall Meeting - Lakeland, Florida Town Hall Meeting - Tampa, Florida September 21st: Accompanied by Jeff GreeneMeet and Greet - St. Petersburg, Florida Campaign Rally - Bradentown, Florida Flies to New JerseyThe debates coming up will provide Americans with an excellent opportunity to see first-hand that the two-party system in this country isn't working. We need a new direction, new leadership, and a willingness to work together. Howard Dean has demonized Republicans time and time again - he may shrug that off, but I believe showing such disrespect to people who you would need to work with as President is a serious issue. We need a President who will unite this nation, not bring further division. That's exactly why we cannot afford to have four years of a divisive President dean.- Mike Bloomberg, at a rally in Bradentown, Florida September 22nd: Meet and Greet - Elizabeth, New Jersey Campaign Rally - Newark, New Jersey Town Hall Meeting - Scranton, Pennsylvania Appearance on The Tonight ShowStory's from the campaign - Dan Boren signs on as Chairman of the Bloomberg for Oklahoma Campaign - Campaign begins to see hope in Oklahoma - Oprah Winfrey set to start campaigning for Bloomberg, will campaign in inner-city areas - Gavin Newsom to hold rally for Bloomberg in San Francisco this week - Colin Powell for Secretary of State? Sources say Bloomberg hopes to nominate Powell to the position he once held - Evan Bayh off to a slow, but promising start. Bloomberg confident they can win.

It's not a surprise. I have just a question, why have you received this email? Do you live in Georgia?
I had family who used to live in Georgia and one of my relatives has a personal friendship with Handel, hence my connection to her. Does she matter at all? She'll lose the primary in the run off. Didn't a poll (though I take it with a grain of salt) just show her on the weaker side of the Senate Candidates?
Handel would be a terrific candidate and a terrific Senator for Georgia. She almost (should have) beat Deal in 2010, so I certainly think it's conceivable for her to pull it off now.

While other candidates have ignored this state during the election, I am absolutely committed to winning the Golden State this November! We have new offices springing up all over the state, and I truly believe the momentum is shifting towards us.
People of California and around the nation are beginning to awaken and realize something - in order to change Washington, we need to change the people we're sending there. The Republicans are running John McCain, a respected war hero and distinguished Senator. However, McCain has been a staunch advocate for the failed policies of President Bush, and has become part of the complacent ways of Washington D.C. Governor Howard Dean isn't much better - he actually ran the Democratic Party!
We need to stand together and say NO to the establishment in D.C. and start electing leaders who are dedicated to putting Americans first. I received this e-mail this morning. She obviously has my unwavering support! Dear Isaac,
I want you to be among the first to know that I have decided to run for U.S. Senate. You have been there for Steve and me over the years. You have given your time, energy, financial support, and prayers, and I want you to know how very much we appreciate all you have done on our behalf. And so, I ask you once again for your support as I begin this new journey to become Georgia’s next U.S. Senator. We will, of course, have a kick-off rally in the coming weeks, but I didn’t want to wait until then to touch base with you about my decision to run. I am running for U.S. Senate because we need less Washington in Washington. States, especially those with Republican governors, are doing a good job -- they are balancing budgets with targeted spending cuts, creating jobs, and tackling tax reform. The biggest problems we face today are in Washington, and that's where we so desperately need fresh thinking, bold solutions, and real leadership. Out of control spending has left us with a crushing debt. It's time to deal with it and stop kicking the can down the road -- this cannot be the legacy we leave to future generations. So many Georgians are still unemployed or underemployed. To really unleash our economic potential, we need prosperity driven by free market solutions -- not prosperity propped up with government spending and bailouts. Businesses, especially our small businesses, need government to get off theirits back s and out of the way, so that they can do what they do best: innovate and create jobs. Georgians want a conservative Senator with the courage to take on the status quo, to fight for them and our constitutional ideals, to be accountable to them -- and not Washington. You know I am a fighter. You know I can get things done. I have been incredibly fortunate and blessed in my life. Only in America could I have the life I have. I'm running for U.S. Senate because I want to make sure that the next young person who ends up on his or her own at 17 will have the opportunity to prosper and achieve. But that won't happen unless we make some big changes in Washington. I hope you will join me on this journey, and Steve and I look forward to seeing you soon on the campaign trail! My sincere thanks and God bless, Karen

The New York TimesBachmann, Pataki Withdraw!
This week, the Republican Primary had two more causalities in former New York Governor George Pataki and Congresswoman Michele Bachmann. While neither was polling strongly, this is expected to be a major boost for both Herman Cain, who was endorsed by Bachmann, and Jon Huntsman, who was endorsed by Pataki. With Pataki out, Huntsman is now the de-facto moderate candidate in the race, and his positioning in New Hampshire appears to be getting stronger by the day.
Additionally, with Bachmann's endorsement, things are certainly looking up for Mr. Cain, as more and more in the Tea Party are beginning to back his campaign. Expect a boost for him in the polls this week.
General Election Match-ups:Obama: 47% Huckabee: 43% Obama: 46% Daniels: 44% Obama: 48% Hutchison: 45% Obama: 47% Huntsman: 46% Obama: 49% Cain: 42% Obama: 48% Paul: 42% Obama: 49% Ayotte: 39% This is not an official update - we are still on November 7th - 13th.
