to the contrary, the amount of anti-establishment anger shown tonight probably means the GOP is underpoling by 5-10 percent in CA/WA/WI/NV.
So we've entered the "just make things up" part of the thread? when only 30 thousand voters were expected, and 60 thousand show up, it's a sign the electorate is being seriously underestimated. The polls were basiucally correct, though. They predicted O'Donnell was ahead and she was gaining support. They pegged the outcome pretty spot on. So the fact that turnout was high says nothing about the accuracy of the polls and certainly doesn't support the claim that the polls of off by 10%. They weren't off by 10% in the Massachusetts Senate race, the NY-23 Special, the HI-1 Special, or the Governor's races in New Jersey and Virginia. The good polls were accurate and the badd polls were not, just like every other election since I've been alive.

This isn't safe by any means, but I think Boxer will pull it off.
Yeah, it's kind of scary that she is even that close. Both of them seem like such mega-bitches on a personal level but Fiorina seems like one of the few people who is actually even more grating to listen to than Boxer is. It's nice to see you've found your rationalization for supporting an indefensible incumbent. Yeah, I find it offensive that a liberal Democrat is having to settle for supporting the liberal Democrat in this race. My point is that people often claim to dislike certain members of their own party in order to seem fair and independent when in fact they will always revert back to supporting their party's nominees for any office.

With a name like "Pajamas," you just have to take it seriously!
It's a real outlet, as much as HotAir or any of such things. Fiorina has aired, what, $20m worth of ads, many attacking Boxer? I mean, that's like in the realm of what Cuomo and Schumer are going to spend for the general election here in New York with their huge warchests, that's a crapton of money. Has Boxer aired one ad yet? Patience. I don't think its anywhere near that much. She hasn't raise that much. Wait.... you are aware that Carlyfornia doesn't need to raise money to spend money, right? Yes, I was counting her donations to herself as money "raised". In any case, Carly is not Whitman and cannot spend without limit.

You can thank your asshole NRSC too for rallying behind an unelectable clown.
The NRSC doesn't think anyone can win the seat but because California has a magical appeal to Republicans, they have to pretend to contest the seat. If Fiorina is the nominee, she can finance the race and the NRSC gets to pretend they are contesting when really they aren't. With Campbell, they'd have to spend money in California that they'd rather spend on Indiana and Arkansas. Their short-sightedness has been on display over and over again in this cycle (See: Crist, Charlie).
