Depends on the GOP candidate obviously. Rubio would beat her.

Hillary will squash him like a bug.

His performance last night seems to indicate that he is leaning towards not running.
38  Presidential Elections - Analysis and Discussion / 2016 U.S. Presidential Election / Re: Hypothetical Sanders vs Bush on: September 11, 2015, 04:25:29 pm
I'm 100% sure that Trump would annihilate Sanders. Against Bush or some low-energy establishment hack like him, Sanders would have a chance, I concede. But against Trump, he would just get totally savaged.

I totally disagree.  My thinking now is that the Democrat will win the GE, unless: 1) Sanders is the Democratic nominee, AND 2) Trump is NOT the Republican nominee.  Trump will not win against anyone, including Sanders, his current surge in primary polls notwithstanding.  Please Republicans, nominate Trump!

41  General Politics / U.S. General Discussion / Will Kim Davis run for higher office? on: September 09, 2015, 01:32:13 am
My guess is that she cashes in on her 15 minutes of fame to use it as a springboard for a campaign for...congress, perhaps?

If she runs for something, which party would she run with?  I guess she ran as a Democrat for county clerk.
42  Presidential Elections - Analysis and Discussion / 2016 U.S. Presidential Election / Re: Atlas Democratic Primary Poll - September 2015 on: September 06, 2015, 03:58:35 am
Clinton, but I'm keeping an open mind about Sanders and Biden.

45  Presidential Elections - Analysis and Discussion / 2016 U.S. Presidential Election / Re: Berniementum to Stop or to Continue? a Short Euphoria? on: July 03, 2015, 06:08:51 pm
It really all depends on how the debates go.  If both Sanders and Clinton put on passable but not exceptional performances, Sanders momentum will die out.  IF Sanders actually excels in a debate, its remotely possible he could upset Hillary.

BTW, when are Democrats debating?  Anyone have a date on that?

47  Atlas Fantasy Elections / Atlas Fantasy Elections / Re: New Register Thread on: July 03, 2015, 05:21:47 pm
Hmmm, I never had this issue when I was RG.  My instinct is that the prohibition only applies to regular scheduled elections, but the de-registration law does not specify that.  It simply says an election "in which they are eligible to participate", which I suppose includes special elections.
48  Presidential Elections - Analysis and Discussion / 2016 U.S. Presidential Election / Re: Is Trump top tier/front-runner? on: July 02, 2015, 02:40:38 pm
I'm hoping that, once it becomes abundantly clear to Donald that he will not win the GOP nomination, he will throw his hat into the general election as an independent.
49  Presidential Elections - Analysis and Discussion / 2016 U.S. Presidential Election / Clinton/Sanders? on: June 27, 2015, 12:15:07 pm
Just how crazy an idea is that?  Is it even remotely possible?
50  General Politics / U.S. General Discussion / Re: Isn't this a reasonable solution for the flag situation? on: June 21, 2015, 04:13:34 am
I should be removed from state grounds altogether.

Really, you should be?  Tongue
