1  Presidential Elections - Analysis and Discussion / 2016 U.S. Presidential Election / Re: 2016 Ongoing Republican Primary on: November 09, 2012, 09:22:57 pm
Mark Kirk probably won't be running for re-election to the Senate considering his debilitated condition.
2  Election Archive / 2012 Elections / Re: Your biggest state surprises? on: November 09, 2012, 09:12:36 pm
Obama getting 48% of Cuban Americans in Florida.

3  Election Archive / 2012 Elections / Re: With New York City in ruins, can Mitt Romney now pick up New York? on: November 02, 2012, 01:05:56 pm
When your house has no electricity, and you have no food or clean water, then Voting becomes less of a priority.

New Jersey is also really bad and could help Romney.

Monmouth and Ocean counties are republican strongholds, so Obama might win Jersey by more than he did in '08
4  Election Archive / 2012 Elections / Re: Chris Christie (R-NJ): Obama ‘outstanding’ in response to Hurricane Sandy on: October 31, 2012, 02:19:44 pm
Makes me wonder- if Romney chose Christie, what would Christie be doing differently right now?
5  Election Archive / 2012 Elections / Re: Dick Morris has spoken! on: October 31, 2012, 12:55:42 pm
Anyone remember how far out he published this map in 2008? Was this really his final prediction?

Oh was that a fat joke?
7  Election Archive / 2012 Elections / Good Candidate Tracker on: August 28, 2012, 12:51:24 pm
I know politico has a candidate tracker, but is seems incomplete and neglected (they still have Pawlentys HQ listed). Does anyone has a good place that lists all candidates daily events?
8  Election Archive / 2012 Elections / Re: Paul Ryan will be dropped from ticket... on: August 12, 2012, 02:17:23 pm
WOW. I was wondering how long until a thread like this popped up.

Not only do you people suck, but you are horribly predictable.
9  Election Archive / 2012 Elections / Re: Obama Ohio bus tour pictures on: July 08, 2012, 04:25:07 pm
What up with the shading on Obama's forearms? Some kind of weird photo-shop? In 2 pictures its his left hand and in one picture its his right hand.
10  Election Archive / 2012 Elections / Re: Romney to deploy Utahan Mormons in Colorado, Nevada on: June 24, 2012, 03:42:54 pm

11  Presidential Elections - Analysis and Discussion / 2016 U.S. Presidential Election / Re: Republican most likely to win in 2016 (assuming Romney loses) on: June 22, 2012, 03:27:49 am
Dam, Rubio and Christie seem to be the most popular 4 1/2 years out, that can only mean it will almost absolutely not be either one of them.
12  Election Archive / 2012 Elections / Re: The First Lady Gap on: March 04, 2012, 01:25:57 pm
Now maybe it's just due to the fact that their years as First Lady have made the holders of that office seem better in retrospect, but it seems to me that the most reliable indicator of who will win the White House has been who has had the more personable spouse, when there has been a noteworthy difference in the affection the public has for them.

I think its mainly that^

but I understand what you're saying. I met Mary Pat Christie and I just cant picture her as first or second lady. Shes extremely personable, and not to sound mean, she just doesn't look the part.
13  Presidential Elections - Analysis and Discussion / Presidential Election Trends / Re: How will Obama perform in Arizona in 2012 compared to 2008? on: February 12, 2012, 03:40:33 pm
If Ron Paul runs on a thrid party ticket, then I think Obama'll definitely take the state. Neither Kyl, McCain or Brewer are attractive prospective running mates.

I agree with you on McCain and Brewer, but I really think Kyle would make a great VP

I have very painful association with people from New Jersey born in 1992.

16  Election Archive / 2012 Elections / Re: What's going on? on: December 15, 2011, 01:55:47 pm
Its literally so fascinating to me that we are seriously discussing the prospects of Huntsman, Paul & Newt. You can't make this stuff up....

20  General Discussion / History / Elections and advances in Communications on: October 26, 2011, 10:51:54 am
Hi! I'm writing a paper for my history of communications class on how new communication technologies have changed presidential campaigns. Does anyone have any good websites or books that could provide insight?

For example, I have a lot of information about the internet and TV, but not much on the radio or the telegraph.

Thanks in advance, I'm sure someone on here has information!

21  Election Archive / 2012 Elections / Re: Why is Huntsman even still running? on: October 26, 2011, 10:41:04 am
He's hoping for his turn to be "anti-Romney".
but he should know the anti-Romney will be on Romneys right, not his left.
22  General Politics / Individual Politics / Re: Your running mate on: October 20, 2011, 06:50:36 pm
You mean among posters or among real politicians ?
Among posters

I would choose Jon Kyle (assuming he would accept because he is retiring). He a lot like Biden in the sense that he knows his way around the Senate.
23  General Politics / Individual Politics / Your running mate on: October 20, 2011, 12:26:11 pm
In fantasy land, if you received your partys nomination for president in 2012 who would you pick for your running mate?
24  Election Archive / 2012 Elections / Re: More word of Christie seriously reconsidering... on: September 29, 2011, 10:23:09 pm
dear God make it stop
25  Election Archive / 2012 Elections / Re: Black vs Half-White: Could Cain win DC if US double dips?! on: September 28, 2011, 08:19:16 pm
Well if unemployment is at 12% AND Obama chose not to run for a second term, it could be closer then ever before, but I still dont think he would win DC.
