I know politico has a candidate tracker, but is seems incomplete and neglected (they still have Pawlentys HQ listed). Does anyone has a good place that lists all candidates daily events?

Election Archive / 2012 Elections / Re: The First Lady Gap

Now maybe it's just due to the fact that their years as First Lady have made the holders of that office seem better in retrospect, but it seems to me that the most reliable indicator of who will win the White House has been who has had the more personable spouse, when there has been a noteworthy difference in the affection the public has for them.
I think its mainly that^ but I understand what you're saying. I met Mary Pat Christie and I just cant picture her as first or second lady. Shes extremely personable, and not to sound mean, she just doesn't look the part.

General Discussion / History / Elections and advances in Communications

Hi! I'm writing a paper for my history of communications class on how new communication technologies have changed presidential campaigns. Does anyone have any good websites or books that could provide insight?
For example, I have a lot of information about the internet and TV, but not much on the radio or the telegraph.
Thanks in advance, I'm sure someone on here has information!

You mean among posters or among real politicians ?
Among posters I would choose Jon Kyle (assuming he would accept because he is retiring). He a lot like Biden in the sense that he knows his way around the Senate.
