I don't think so. Pretty clear and necessary.

Scary, tbh.
4  Atlas Fantasy Elections / Regional Governments / Re: IDS 1: A Negative War on Poverty Act on: October 13, 2014, 10:20:55 pm
That sounds like an easy solution, I will get around to writing the formula tomorrow.
Really good to hear this.

Endorsed, of course.

This will encourage people to not make a certain amount because then they'd be getting money from the federal government. I'm not sure how to fix this to make it work and not create an incentive to either hide income to work to not get a raise.
Have to agree here. The whole thing should be reworked.

Where do you stand on the attempt by PPT Lumine to expel Senator Deus from the Senate for role-playing?
Senator Deus is a traitor and a leader of a clearly anti-Atlasian movement. He must be expelled.
And since you came here, I would like to ask you: For how long you, Snowstalker and TNF were preparing the plot and what have you used to force DemPGH's resignation?

This is over Pingvin, come to the IDS now.
I never stated that I had personally joined the Army, just a bunch of people that I let use my name as a unit tag.

Senator Cassius reviews White Army forces near Columbus

'I have summoned you all here today, for the express purpose of conveying a message to you. Atlasia remains in a state of virtual civil war, and the military remain unable to defeat the factions that seek to bring down the state. Thus, all of you, volunteers from across Atlasia; Mideast, Northeast, Southeast etcetera, I urge you to march on the rebels in the Northeast and help the army restore order there. Too many decent, ordinary civilians have been slain during this conflict for us to stand idly by and watch'.

White Army begin to file off in the direction of the Northeast

OFFICIAL STATEMENT: PINGVIN'S VOLUNTEER SQUAD JOINS THE WHITE ARMY

No casualties have been reported in the IDS. I encourage you to stand down and not cause a panic.
Governor, we can't keep our heads in the sand. We can't leave the Unionist fighters in the other regions alone just because the terrorist disease hadn't knocked on our door yet.
13  Atlas Fantasy Elections / Atlas Fantasy Elections / Friends of the Front - Fundraising campaign for the Union cause on: October 05, 2014, 02:41:19 pm
Dear friends.
I'm not going to hide behind the "correct" words. Our country has been stabbed in the back by the separatist traitors and junta bastards. They kill innocent civilians, rob their houses and offices.
While I still believe that Federal and legal Regional goverments will do their best to strike down the beast called the "Rebellion", I can't stay away.
Therefore, I hereby announce the formation of the new organization that will do its best to help all the pro-Union volunteers and militia everywhere around the country.
Friends of the Front Comittee will hold a number of fundraising events across the IDS. All the money collected will be used for the purchase of equipment that anti-separatist forces need right now.
Stau tuned for the updates.

AN OFFICIAL STATEMENT FROM THE IDS LEGISLATOR PINGVIN
I urge everyone to keep calm and get their guns ready in case of possible Junta attacks or outbreaks. Form the militia, organize the patrols, stay alert.

Of course, 10% unemployment is a threat to the region. I fully support the idea and yes, like Duke said, there should be a cash convertion for the new businesses.

Any more debating needed on this or are we ready to move to a final vote?
I suggest we start voting.

I would like to congratulate Flo on his victory and say that I'm looking forward to productive work with him in the Legislature.
22  General Politics / International General Discussion / Re: Russia General Discussion on: September 26, 2014, 09:28:59 am
What happened with Yanukovych can happen in Russia. It's the same situation, the same kind of people doing the same things, with everything "bigger" in Russia. But it took the Ukrainians 10 years, two "revolutions" and tens of deaths to get rid of Yanukovych, and it is unclear how far Putin would be ready to go against his own population (it is easy to jail divisive figures like oligarchs or the Pussy Riot girls, but what about "good russians" like the soldiers's mothers or normal students).
Won't happen. Too much propaganda and fear.

Well, I have a long expierence of working in the Legislature, brief tenure in Senate and also worked as Judicial Overlord. Almost everybody would agree that I always was able to support multi-partisan work and finding compromise while staying true to my principles. So, I believe that I can be a pretty good speaker.
25  Atlas Fantasy Elections / Atlas Fantasy Elections / Re: That's a friggin' dramatic turn of events - Pingvin for IDS Legislature on: September 24, 2014, 10:09:52 pm
Hello Pigvin, congratulations.

Will you run for the IDS senate if Yankee retires?
Thanks for the congratulations! Smiley
I can't rule anything out, but working for the people of IDS in the Legislature is my no. 1 task now.
