Evan Bayh isn't elderly, but I don't think we've seen the last of him.

He seems rather content making infrequent appearances on FOX as one of their token Democrats.

This. Open senate seat and a weak incumbent at Governor in Indiana this cycle, Bayh didn't jump. He's most likely done with elected office.
