The country is committed to civil rights and climate change already. It does not need to be thrown at people's faces. People get it. Y'all are acting like if Trump is going to repeal Civil Rights. What he and his supporters are most likely saying, is you are represented, the world does not revolve around you, we are all Americans, get to the business of the country and get working.

"Thrown at people's faces" = A webpage on the White House website.

"Look I don't hate the underprivileged, I just don't like being reminded they exist all the time!"
