Yay! It would be really awesome if she ran for Congress right alongside Hillary running for President, but if she does want to run this year, the filing deadline is about a week away. Even though she's in Christine Quinn's old city council district, the residency requirements are too ridiculous for her to run there and she doesn't have a law degree either so that pretty much eliminates Atty. General. DiNapoli is just Cuomo's fiscal lackey and if she did run to primary Cuomo, she would get overwhelming support from NY Dems and labor unions, so those are her best options for statewide office this year.

For Congress though, she unfortunately is in Carolyn Maloney's district (who's likely to run again and is a Ready for Hillary supporter), so her best option is finding another winnable congressional district by NYC or waiting to primary Schumer or get an open seat in 2016. A run is doubtful, but there's always hope that we can get mother and daughter serving us in DC!
